TAKE CARE OF YOUR TATTOO
The first thing you should know is that after getting a tattoo, you’re responsible for taking care of it! I know it sounds obvious, but you wouldn’t believe how many people ruin their tattoos because they didn’t follow the proper aftercare steps. So please, don’t take any risks and follow these instructions!

Freshly done: immediate aftercare.
After getting your tattoo, I will cover the area with a protective film to prevent friction and help healing. Keep it on for 24 hours up to a maximum of 3 days.
When removing it, wash your hands thoroughly and gently clean the tattoo with cold or lukewarm water and mild soap using only your fingers. Pat dry with a clean towel or let it air dry—do not rub.
How to care for your tattoo at home.
During the first few days, apply a thin layer of tattoo-specific moisturizer two to three times a day to keep the skin hydrated and prevent dryness and scabbing. Before applying the thin layer of cream, wash your tattoo as previously instructed.
Avoid scratching or rubbing your tattoo, and make sure not to wear tight clothing that could rub against it. If you feel itching or discomfort, it’s normal—but do not scratch it!
The importance of sun protection and hydration.
During the first few days, it is also very important not to expose your tattoo to the sun, or submerge it in water (pools, baths, the sea, etc.) or saunas, as this can cause infections or fading. It is recommended to wait at least 4 weeks after getting your tattoo before engaging in these activities.
Can I get a tattoo in the summer?
Yes!
Getting a tattoo in summer has an advantage: it can heal better and faster since it’s exposed to air, avoiding friction from winter clothes that can remove scabs and affect the color.
We also offer a protective film, like a second skin, to shield your tattoo at the beach or pool.
